Issue 14 is out now! This is another special issue, entitled “The Politics of Home” and edited by Sarah Heinz and Kristin Aubel.
Ha! Coils of the Serpent sounds intense, like philosophical ninjas dissecting the anatomy of power. I particularly appreciate the themed issues – Burning the Ballot makes me wonder if voting machines are secretly plotting anarchy. While the scholarly vibe is impressive, I picture academics huddled over esoteric texts, muttering about Haifa and the World-System while their coffee pots overflow. But kudos to providing a platform for such diverse dialogues. Now, if only they could apply some of that power analysis to fixing the websites search function… maybe next issue: The Algorithmic Absence? Keep the intellectual martial arts going!
